Terms and Conditions


  1. The organizer of The Grow Off [the “Competition”] is: GAGO LLC [the “Company” alternatively the “Organizer”], a Colorado Limited Liability Company, with a principal business address of 3355 West 32nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80211.
  2. Employees, Owners, Principals, or Consultants of the Company or anyone else being compensated in any way by the Competition or its execution shall be prohibited from entering the Competition.
  3. Participation in the Competition is limited to employees, owners, or equivalent persons associated with a Colorado state-licensed Medical Marijuana Cultivation Facility. Competition applicants may be asked to provide copies of state and/or local business licenses, as well as individual occupational licenses. The Organizer reserves the right to manually verify that all provided licenses are valid and in good standing with State and local regulatory bodies.
  4. There is a non-refundable application fee to enter the Competition. The application fee covers the cost of the clone(s), the prize purse, award ceremony, and any other costs associated with administering or hosting the Competition.

  6. Closing date for application will be April ??, 2016. After this date the no further applicants to the competition will be permitted unless expressly authorized by GAGO LLC Principals.
  7. The Competition, the Organizer, and the Company accept no responsibility for applications not received for any reason.

  9. The prize purse for the winner will be based on the total application fees collected and will be determined by the Organizer.
  10. The Organizer reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Organizer’s control. Any changes to the competition will be provided to the competition participants as soon as possible via email, mail, phone or other reasonable medium of communication, as deemed appropriate by the Organizer.
  11. The Organizer accepts no legal liability, product liability, or any other type of liability pertaining to the health of the clones provided to the participating Medical Marijuana Cultivation Facilities.
  12. The Organizer is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the Competition.
  13. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.
  14. Winners will be awarded in the categories Yield, Potency and Flavor as determined by lab results and Metrc reporting. Entrants will adhere to competition rules regarding harvesting, drying, curing and sample submission. chosen based on a proprietary algorithm developed by the Organizer that accounts for the following quantitative factors. These factors may be amended or supplemented as deemed necessary for quality control purposes by the Organizer:
    1. Yield – Total Yield of dried, cured, shelf-ready flower (same weight entered in Metrc)
    2. Potency – Total Cannabinoid Profile from our chosen state licensed testing lab.
    3. Flavor – Total Terpenoid Profile from our chosen state licensed testing lab.  
  15. All entrants will receive their clone(s) in accordance with Colorado law and any state or local statutes applicable to the cultivation, production, transport, distribution, or sale of recreational marijuana.
  16. All entrants will complete required weekly data reporting. The Organizers are the only entity that will have access to this data. Our data partners will receive anonymized reports that the Organizers will deliver back to the Entrants in the form of actionable feedback.
  17. All entrants will select and submit samples for laboratory analysis in accordance with the rules of the Competition and applicable State and local laws and statutes.
  18. All entrants will select and submit samples for judging to a licensed Retail Marijuana Store selected by the Organizer. All samples will be transferred to the aforementioned Retail Marijuana Store and purchased in accordance with applicable State and local laws and statutes.
  19. The “closing date” of the Competition will be no later than six months from date that clones are distributed to competition participants. The Organizers reserve the right to amend the closing date as required. Changes to the closing date by the Organizers will be communicated to each competition participant via email, telephone, fax, or any other reasonable medium of communication.  The winner will be announced at an award ceremony hosted by the Organizer and sponsors no later than  Q4 of 2017. In the event that the winner is not present at the aforementioned award ceremony, the winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Organizer reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. In the event the winning submission encounters legal issues including but not limited to the suspension or revocation of the participant’s license by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (“MED”), the Organizer reserves the right to select a replacement winner in accordance with the proprietary algorithm.
  20. The Organizer will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
  21. The Organizer’s decisions with respect to all matters pertaining to the Competition will be final and no appeals will be considered or granted.
  22. By entering the Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  23. The Competition and these Terms & Conditions will be governed by Colorado law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the City and County of Denver.
  24. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  25. The winners’ name will be available in perpetuity at the Competition’s website: [http://www.TheGrowOff.com]. The Organizer may amend or remove this information at any time for any reason.
  26. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  27. Any process or procedure not outlined in these Terms & Conditions will be conducted in accordance with all applicable State and local laws and statutes.
  28. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network apart from a named Social Media Sponsor. Entrants are providing their information to the Company and event sponsors.
